Cynopsis: Kids! is now confirming previous reports which suggested that Power Rangers Samurai would have three specials. Earlier this month, Marvista promotional material appeared on Rangerboard implying that there would be three Power Rangers Samurai specials, and a grand total of 44 episodes. In addition to confirming that there are three specials, Cynopsis: Kids! has provided episode titles and descriptions.

  • Party Monsters – a scare-fest when the creepiest monsters from beyond get together for party and trade stories about their battles with the Rangers.
  • Christmas Together, Friends Forever – the Rangers reflect on their first year together as a team and learn about the spirit of the season.
  • The Clash of the Red Rangers – a crossover special where the Samurai Rangers team with the mysterious RPM Rangers Red fend off the dual threat from Master Xandred’s Mooger army and robotic super-villain from the RPM Ranger’s dimension.  When something goes awry, the two Red Rangers turn on one another and the fate of the world hangs in the balance.

Party Monsters and Christmas Together, Friends Forever are each half–hour specials, while The Clash of the Red Rangers, is an hour long special; it is believed that The Clash of the Red Rangers is being counted as two individual episodes, hence the increase from 43 episodes total to 44 episodes total. Additionally, it is also believed that Party Monsters will debut on October 29, 2011 to coincide with the weekend of Halloween. Such a premiere would further reinforce previous statements that Nickelodeon has ordered two 20 episode seasons of Power Rangers Samurai to be cablecast over the course of 2011 and 2012 respectively.
